Turmeric Tonic | Cleveland Southside Moms


  • 21/2 cups water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger


In a medium saucepan combine all ingredients; heat over medium heat until simmering. Simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes. Strain into serving cups.

It’s National Hot Tea Month and we assume that’s because January is a great time for detoxing, cleansing, healing, and starting fresh. Tea is a great way to do all of these. We found this amazing anti-inflammatory tea made with turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon that we thought would be a great way to start the year. It’s soothing and warm. Add a favorite tea bag to it to make it your own. Enjoy!
