Looking for some fun outdoor adventures that will run off energy and be fun for the whole family? Need a place where you can spread out and practice social distancing? Want to appreciate the gorgeous landscape of northeast Ohio? Cleveland Southside has so many amazing places to go! Here are five great hikes that are family-friendly!

Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Ledges Trail: 1.8 mile hiking trail. Not recommended for strollers or mobility restrictions.


Hinckley Reservation Whipps Ledges: 1.3-mile trail. Dog friendly, great for bird watching and observing wildflowers.

Brecksville Reservation, Deer Lick Cave Trail4-mile moderate loop trail, dog-friendly, rolling gentle landscape.

Bedford Reservation, Bridal Veil Falls: Take a short walk down to this amazing waterfall and stay to walk the trails and check out the gorge.

Summit Metroparks, Liberty Park, Black Bear Trail: Check out freshwater springs, ledges, and yes, possible black bear sightings.
